The article presents the case why an affiliate program should be viewed as a PR vehicle much more than a paid advertising opportunity. Towards the end there is a checklist of good ideas to implement to leverage the full potential of the program. Overall, it’s a good read, and touches upon some very important points that can’t be repeated enough times (care about your affiliates one by one, offer them content, not just banners and buttons, etc).
