Adwords blindness, will it occur?

Google this week announced that they are now allowing up to 3 Google AdSense ads to be placed on any page. I have no doubt that most publishers will gladly post the 3 ads, and soon the web will be even more full of Adsense banners, boxes and leaderboards. So i began to wonder, if sooner or later this is going to cause the sort of defence mechanism that we saw with banner blindness? Are consumers going to simply ignore anything that looks like a text ad? Are they going to be unconsciously shutting out these ads?

I am leaning towards saying no, because the ads are so relevant to what they are reading that their eyes will catch the keywords in the ads no matter how annoyed they are with ads. I could be wrong though, what do you think?
