Traffic boom for social sites and services

A very interesting article in the Washington Post reports that in the past year traffic growth for the top web sites (Yahoo, eBay and co) slowed to single digits (as always, with the exception of Google, who still achieved 21% growth, it would be interesting to ponder why and how), while blogging and other social sites – Blogger, Myspace and Wikipedia-, as well as local services sites shot up in triple-digit growth.
